John Wroblewski, who will be entering his first year as the head coach of the U.S. National Under-18 Team in 2016-17, is making his first appearance as an assistant coach at the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game.
Wroblewski spent 2015-16 as the head coach of the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League, and previously served as an assistant coach for the American Hockey League’s Rochester Americans (2013-15) and head coach of the ECHL’s Gwinnett Gladiaors (2011-13).
The Neenah, Wisconsin, native is the first head coach in program history to have previously played at USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program (1997-99). He also served three seasons as an assistant coach with the NTDP from 2007-2010.
Wroblewski played college hockey at the University of Notre Dame (1999-2003) before skating four seasons with the ECHL’s Fresno Falcons (2003-07).
